New Beginnings for Living on the Fault Lines

There is a lot of excitement and change going on here at LOFL. This journey, which began four years ago with a giant slice of devastation, continues to evolve and change in ways I never could have imagined. I am incredibly grateful to my readers and I genuinely appreciate your support and encouragement.

This week I had an article published in First Day Press. If you haven’t had the opportunity to read it, I hope you will hop over and check it out. I love their philosophy that, “each person should apply testimonies of simplicity, equality, peace, integrity, and stewardship to their lives,” and I am honored they chose to feature my work.

The last few months have been devoted to shifting from being solely a blog, to an expanded community working with the people left behind in the aftermath of trauma. I am excited that this will include webinars, workshops and one-on-one advocacy.

I will continue to publish two to three times a week to provide cutting edge information pertinent and beneficial to those bravely engaging in the work of healing. I truly believe that making the choice to heal is nothing short of declaring yourself a courageous warrior, and although going inwards toward the pain seems counter-intuitive, it is the only way if we are to become whole.

Healing is a noble process of honoring yourself and the experiences that cross your path.

My writing has always been driven by compassionate curiosity and is deeply rooted in the idea of bringing our wounds out into the open so they can be healed and transformed into wisdom. The more I write and speak to people, one thing has become clear: wounds left to fester take on a life of their own and assume a commanding presence in how our lives play out.

I am so glad you are a part of my community and I look forward to sharing the next phase with you.

Yours in love, truth and wisdom.
